In 2016, driven by a desire for rebirth and innovation, the founders of Monokol chose this memory-laden place to lay the foundations of a brand destined to defy time.

Story

The name Monokol is inspired by the monocle, an optical instrument developed in the 18th century designed to enhance the vision of a single eye. Over the course of the 21st century, this accessory transformed into a symbol of refinement and distinction, adopted by aristocrats and dandies to evoke an era of unmatched elegance. Captivated by the aura of this ancient item, the co-founders infused the brand with a name that resonates with its heritage, choosing "Monokol" from a Scandinavian word that preserves its meaning.
